Uncle Dave ?

Who's Uncle IS he?

Dave was studying music education at Temple University in Philadelphia Pa. in the early 70's, and while student-teaching at a local parochial elementary school, Dave felt WAY too young to be called MISTER anything, so he asked that the children call him by his first name. Well, Sister "No-you-don't" wouldn't hear of it, so the nickname "Uncle" was born long before his first nephew! After conducting a school concert one evening, a fellow musician heard the kids calling him "Uncle" Dave and the name stuck.....
for over 30 years!
